These Terms govern your use of OC Vendor Guide. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

OC Vendor Guide is an online directory and discovery service. We help people find and contact independent providers of party, entertainment, and event-related services in Orange County and nearby areas.
We do not supply party or event services, hire or employ providers, supervise events, control how services are performed, or guarantee outcomes. We are not a booking agent, party organizer, childcare provider, insurer, background-checking service, or safety certifier.
Pricing, event date, scope, contracts, cancellation, refunds, deposits, and safety arrangements are agreed directly between the customer and the provider. OC Vendor Guide is not a party to those contracts.
An inquiry sent through the Platform is not a reservation, binding acceptance, or guaranteed availability. Customer payments for third-party event services are not accepted or processed by OC Vendor Guide. Vendor membership fees paid to us are a separate transaction for directory listing services only.
OC Vendor Guide does not conduct background checks or independently vet providers. Listing, paid membership, ratings, editorial inclusion, or search placement is not a statement that a provider is safe, licensed, insured, suitable, approved, or recommended.
Descriptions, prices, availability, images, and credential statements generally come from providers and may be incomplete or outdated. Reviews are opinions and are not necessarily evidence of a completed transaction.
Accounts are for people age 18 or older. Minors may not independently register, manage an account, receive customer messages, or accept subscriptions.
If an adult lists a service performed in part by someone under 18, the adult is the sole account holder and controls contact, agreements, and payments.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our listing guidelines.
You may not misuse the Platform, including by scraping without permission, attempting unauthorized access, spamming, impersonating others, posting illegal or harmful content, or interfering with other users.
Do not reveal children’s full names, addresses, schools, or personal contact details in public listings, reviews, or messages when avoidable.
Fake reviews, undisclosed paid endorsements, harassment, and illegal content are prohibited. Paid membership does not buy higher scores or removal of truthful negative reviews.
Report suspected fraud, danger, abuse, or misleading content through the report form. For immediate danger, contact emergency services.
Paid placements are identified as Sponsored. A paid placement is advertising, not a safety certification or endorsement. We do not guarantee leads, bookings, or revenue.
Vendor memberships are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. Founding trials require a payment method, charge $0 during the trial, and convert to the selected paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends. Card details are stored by Stripe, not by OC Vendor Guide. See Vendor Membership and Cancellation for billing details.
The Platform’s branding, layout, and original content are owned by OC Vendor Guide or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by law or with written permission.
You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant OC Vendor Guide a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the directory. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that providers will perform as described, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OC VENDOR GUIDE AND ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR FROM ANY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND PROVIDERS.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLATFORM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR VENDOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100), EXCEPT WHERE LAW PROHIBITS THIS LIMIT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
You agree to defend and indemnify OC Vendor Guide and its operators against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, your use of the Platform, your services to customers, or your violation of these Terms or law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Exclusive venue for disputes that are not resolved informally is the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, email hello@ocvendorguide.com and allow 30 days for us to attempt resolution.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes. Material changes to vendor billing will also be reflected on Pricing and in Vendor Membership and Cancellation.
OC Vendor Guide is the trade name for the online directory published at https://ocvendorguide.com (domain ocvendorguide.com).
