Is there a free public listing?
Account registration is always free. A public listing requires either a remaining founding-trial spot (with a card on file) or an active paid membership.
Do I need a credit card to start a draft?
No. Create an account and save your profile first. A card is required to start the founding trial or a paid membership.
Is there a free trial?
The first 30 unique businesses get 30 days free with a required payment method. $0 is charged during the trial. Unless you cancel, the selected Pro or Featured plan bills automatically when the trial ends. There is no free trial after that cohort is full.
Does a published listing mean the business was checked or insured?
No. Automated checks look for prohibited content, spam, and suspicious activity. They are not background checks, licensing verification, insurance verification, or vendor vetting.
Who handles party payments and contracts?
Vendors do. OC Vendor Guide is an independent directory. We do not process event-service payments or take responsibility for services provided by vendors.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel anytime from Billing. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged; the listing stays public until free access ends, then it leaves search and your content stays saved. After paid billing starts, cancellation takes effect at period end. Founding-rate protection ends when paid membership ends.
Can I switch between Pro and Featured?
Yes, from Billing. Founders keep the founding price on either paid plan while membership stays continuous.
